Awesome spot on the way in or out of town. Fast service, fantastic food, has a beautiful small town vibe going on. Old school krinkle fries and toasted buns. way better than buying franchise food.

My family and I recently went there for a bite to eat. It brought back some really happy memories. The Athabasca Burger Bar was one of the popular hangouts for lunch, back in my day I have very special memories there with many family & friends. The food is excellent, the staff are Amazing! And they even have Milkshakes too!! I would recommend stopping in if your passing through Athabasca.

Great small town food and you get way more than you can eat. Great place to stop to grab a quick bite of homemade food when driving to or from Fort mc. Staff is friendly.

Love the Athabasca Burger Bar. Its homey atmosphere and pleasant staff are a welcome change from the usual suspect chain-type burger places. We had a delicious chicken burger as part of the special and weren’t disappointed! Fries and gravy- why not? The only thing that made us unhappy was not being able to order more. We’ ll be back!

Cute place we stopped to have lunch at, so glad we did! Like stepping into some 70's retro diner, not joking! You gotta experience this place if you're into this type of sideways hidden gems. Locals are aplenty here, looks like everyone knows everyone. Our server was busy yet she took care of us well, our order came out fresh to order. Pretty sure we came off like city folks, yet the small town energy made me feel welcome. When I inquired what the burger shack was famous for, our waitress said "The Big show" which we had already decided on so this made me excited. It did not disappoint! I heard the soup of the day was hamburger macaroni soup, talk about comfort food heaven! We'll be back if ever passing through again :) Thank you for lunch! Oh also before leaving I asked our waitress what her favorite milkshake was, she said the lime so I ordered one to take on the road ( when a diner is this unique one simply doesn't walk away without grabbing something sweet! )
